SET UP THE LAPTOP

Once per laptop, about two minutes. After this it's a double-click whenever you need to load the day's messages.

INSTALL

ONE TIME ONLY
1

Double-click ATF-Field-Flasher.pkg.

The installer opens. If macOS says it's from an unidentified developer, right-click the file instead and choose Open, then Open again — that only happens the first time.

2

Click Continue, then Install, and enter the Mac's password.

It puts the app in your Applications folder. The password is the one used to log into the Mac — macOS asks for it because the app is being installed for everyone on the machine.

3

Open ATF Field Flasher from Applications and choose Allow for Bluetooth.

Bluetooth is the only way it can reach the goggle, so this one matters. If you tap Don't Allow by mistake, see below.

IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG

macOS won't open the installer. Right-click ATF-Field-Flasher.pkg and choose Open, then Open again. On newer Macs it may instead say to go to System Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll to the bottom and press Open Anyway. Never press Move to Trash — that deletes the file.

You tapped “Don't Allow” on the Bluetooth question. It won't ask again. Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Bluetooth, switch on ATF Field Flasher, then quit the app and open it again.

It says the app is already open, or nothing happens. A copy is probably still running from an earlier install. Quit it from the Dock, then open the one in Applications.

We send you a new version. Run the new installer the same way — it replaces the old app. It may ask about Bluetooth again; choose Allow. Nothing else changes.
